The Collkin Collective was established in May 2017 By Dominique Daly & Alex Carr in Liverpool. The name 'Collkin' is a combination of the words Collaborative and Kinetic, reflecting the nature of the company. The work aims to be one of a collaborative nature-meaning the company all have a part to play in the writing in the initial stages, as well as using their particular skills to make the work stronger. The kinetic element focuses on the energy of movement, especially as we have company members with an interest in physical theatre. We also believe music has a powerful place within theatre, therefore the musicians within the company work to create an original soundtrack.
